Twitter for Entrepreneurs Only?

Looking for a more targeted channel to connect with other entrepreneurs?

Sprouter.com is a new social network designed for entrepreneurs and start ups from around the world to meet and collaborate.  It’s a great way to connect with other like-minded individuals to share ideas, get feedback and network for joint ventures.

With all the noise on Twitter and other social networks, this is an excellent platform to filter out the masses and develop a channel directly with other entrepreneurs.

Sprouter works on a similar concept to Twitter and micro-blogging sites with followers and a 140 character messaging system. Connection between entrepreneurs is based on the question “What are you working on?”, described in 140 characters or less. From there, people can connect by searching for others with similar goals and interests.

Started in November 2009, Sprouter.com is still in its infancy and maintains a relatively small network.  The community was started by Sarah Prevettek, Founder & CEO.  Sarah herself, is a young entrepreneur with a background in web community building and strategic positioning.

Sprouter integrates with Twitter, Linked-in, Facebook and GMail to get your follower list up quickly. It’s easy to use and provides a very targeted channel to entrepreneurs and startups. Sprouter also features monthly, live events.

If you want to cut through the noise and direct connect with entrepreneurs, check out Sprouter.com.
